June Cook is an Architect at Fitzpatrick Architects in Tyler, Texas. Although June works primarily with health care facilities, she is experienced with a variety of project types, from health care to commercial, educational and governmental.
June received her Bachelor of Environmental Design from Texas A&M University in 1980, followed with a Master of Architecture in 1982. June has worked with a number of firms including Araldo Cossutta (Dallas), HKS, Inc. (Dallas) and Simons-Burch-Clark-Maris Architects, Inc. (Tyler) prior to joining Fitzpatrick Butler Architects in 2003. In 2010, she joined Fitzpatrick Architects formed by Steve Fitzpatrick. June is licensed to practice Architecture in the State of Texas.
June’s primary focus is design development and production phases of health care projects. Past projects include the Anderson County Courthouse Annex, Island Orthodontics, ETMC Carthage MRI Addition, ETMC Trinity Hospital Emergency Department Additions & Renovations, ETMC Trinity Clinic, ETMC Center Clinic, Tyler Beverage Freezer Addition, and ETMC 5th Street Clinic East Remodel. June is currently working on an expansion project for ETMC Trinity Hospital.
June served as the 2006 President of the Northeast Texas Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, President-Elect Northeast Texas Chapter 2005 and Secretary-Treasurer of the Northeast Texas Chapter AIA in 1997. She has also participated in the Horizon program, sponsored by TJC, introducing middle school girls to careers in Math and Science fields.
In her spare time, June works with Tyler Obedience Training Club, providing training to area pets.
