Josh Koch is a draftsman at Fitzpatrick Architects in Tyler, Texas. He works on a variety of projects, from smaller residential to larger medical, educational, and commercial projects.
Josh began his schooling at Texas Tech University, majoring in Architecture, but moved into a Graphic Design major after a year. As a senior, he transferred to Iowa State University, where he studied for two years, spending his last semester in Rome, Italy. Josh graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Studies, emphasizing in Photography and 2-dimensional media. Since graduation, he has worked for Green Acres Baptist Church, Brookshire’s Grocery Company, Estes McClure & Associates, and joined Fitzpatrick.Butler Architects in 2007, and subsequently Fitzpatrick Architects.
Josh is very involved in the Wired Young Single Adult Ministry at Green Acres Baptist Church, where he writes Bible study curriculum and teaches occasionally.He is also an avid outdoorsman and traveler, and enjoys every opportunity to escape from home.
