Daphne Harris

Daphne performs technical and other support functions as a draftsperson at Fitzpatrick Architects in Tyler. She works on a broad spectrum of projects including, residential, medical, educational, and commercial.

After graduating with honors from the University of Texas at Tyler with a Bachelor of Science degree in Technology, she was an instructor in the Engineering Design Technology program at Tyler Junior College. While at TJC, she began Campus Crusades for Christ on campus.  She was the lead instructor for the GIS/GPS program, which she developed and subsequently taught. She also served on a team of GPS personnel for the search and recovery of the space shuttle, Columbia.

Daphne came to Fitzpatrick Butler Architects in 2007 after a number of years at TJC, and subsequently joined Fitzpatrick Architects in 2010. She holds a Trade and Industrial Teacher Certificate and, in 2005, attended the PACT program at LeTourneau University for teacher certification: 4th – 6th grades.

In her free time, Daphne raises Appaloosa horses, enjoys time with her grand daughter and is active in Real Life Singles at Green Acres Baptist Church.
