Abigail Leonard

Abby Leonard is an Intern at Fitzpatrick Architects in Tyler, Texas.

Abby received her BSFCS in Interior Design from Baylor University in 2002. She worked with Catherine Dolen & Associates, a Waco interior design firm, where projects included private residences and commercial offices. She is a registered Interior Designer in the state of Texas and is a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers.

From 2006 to 2009, Abby continued her education and received her Master of Architecture from Texas A&M University. While at A&M, Abby was a graduate assistant for architecture undergrad students and also completed a summer internship with Wilder Architects in Dallas. She assisted with hotel and resort designs for projects in Oklahoma, Kansas, and the Philippines.

Upon graduation from Texas A&M in 2009, she joined Fitzpatrick Architects.  Her projects have included Brookshire’s Fresh, East Texas Medical Center, and churches in Tyler, Longview, Kilgore, and Nacogdoches. She is currently working toward her architecture license and is the 2010 Intern Director for the Northeast Texas Chapter of the American Institute of Architects. She is involved at Green Acres Baptist Church and enjoys traveling and shopping with her friends for furnishings and antiques several times a year at large antique markets.
